Office 2003(CD) to 2007 upgrade on new Win7 - How?

Amazon.com 2007 Office Upgrade says:
"Not sure if you need the upgrade version or the full version? You can
purchase the Upgrade version of Windows 7 if you're currently running Windows
Vista or Windows XP on your PC. If you're not running Windows XP or Windows
Vista on your PC, you'll need to purchase the Full version of Windows 7."

I have the Office 2003 CD and a new Win 7 Laptop.
How can I only buy an upgrade?

That paragraph is talking about versions of Window 7.
