I have Office XP Pro 2002 and installed it on my XP-based laptop. Then I
downloaded Windows XP updates (including XP SP2). Now, I am trying to
install Office XP SP3 and it keeps asking me to find PROPLUS.MSI on the
Office XP CD, but this file is nowhere to be found. Can anyone please help?

Proplus.msi belongs to Office XP with FrontPage, an enterprise only version
that was widely pirated.

Remove your version of Office, and then reinstall from your retail disk(s).
You can then apply the SPs for Office without issue.
