KB981726 and KB976321 will not install

Running Windows 7 and KB981726 update for junk mail Microsoft Office Outlook
2007 and KB976321 Security update for Microsoft Office Systems 2007 will not
install have tried multiple times.

Do you have Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2 for Office 2007 installed?
(Either service pack must be installed in order to install KB976321.)

Note: Picking Help | About Microsoft Outlook will help you determine what
Service Pack is installed because it will be listed right after the version
number information.

Are you getting and error. Can you post it. If the error is 646 then put your Office
CD into your computer while the updates are downloading and installing

In regards to error message code 646 for KB976321; MSOffice System 2007
security update. Member fddc379 is correct in resolving this issue. For
members that still have problems with your version of msoffice 2007, the
quicke way to resolving this issue is to turn of your user account
before down loading and then turn the user account back on after the
update is complete. Remember to restart your computer before and after
you change your user account. Member fddc379 suggested this method and I
followed his instructions. This method will work.

I am also getting an error 646 but I donot know what it means to " turn of
your user account before down loading". My laptop is my own personal PC and
there is only one (1) account and that account does have administrator
priviledges. Are there step-by-step instructions as to how to resolve this
problem??

In response to my thread posted earlier today, regarding error 64
KB976321. I have a misprint in the area concerning (turn of) it shoul
have said turn off your user account an restart your computer then dow
load your update. After your update (KB976321) is complete turn you
user account back on and you will have to restart your computer again
Member fddc379 posting is how I resolved the KB976321 update problem
Now, I'm sure there are other ways of resolving the KB976321 updat
issue, but turning the user account on and off in order to receive th
update was the easies way for me. I am the administer on my own persona
computer. I thank member fddc379 for is posting it is helpful

assume that we are not the only 2 people that are unable to install these
